  3. Thanks for dropping by at Books4Juliet :) I love City of Fallen Angels! I also have a copy of The Replacement but I haven't started it yet. And bdw, since you asked, Timeless is one of my favorites! I am such a romantic you know ;) And I enjoyed Demonglass too (and now I'm waiting for Spell Bound). I'm enjoying Heist Society so far, and I think I'm going to read Uncommon Criminals afterwards.

  4. The Replacement was okay, but I was disappointed. It wasn't as good as I expected and hoped.
    As for your question, I was confused as well. I'm pretty sure the town didn't know about Mackie (the whole thing with his best friend confused me though) but Gentry, I think, knew about the whole Replacement idea, but they didn't talk about it. It was a taboo subject, something that happens but no one says anything, everyone just lets it happen.
    I was confused throughout most of the book.
