Review Policy

I would like to start off by saying thank you for even looking at my blog! I know there are many great book blogs out there, and I feel so elated that a publisher/author would even come across mine. Without further ado, here is Books from a Shelf's Review Policy.

Book Types/Genres:

I read all Young Adult books. I do not review childrens or middle grade books. I do read, depending on the genre, Adult. I accept ARCs, published books, and also Ebooks. However, they must be compatible with the Amazon Kindle. You can contact me at booksfromashelf@yahoo.com with any questions, concerns, or ideas. 

I read all of the following genres:

• Dystopian
• Spy/Con/Heist (Think Oceans 11)
• Mystery/Thriller
• Contemporary
• Historical Fiction
• Fantasy
• Retellings
• Indie
• Books that make you smile

Reviewing:

Immediately after I finish a book, I write the review. I feel like most of my emotions are still fresh and that's why. If I wait a day, I won't really remember what I thought about as I finished it. I'll also write notes in the book and stuff to remember. 

Blog Tours/Interviews/Giveaways:

As of right now, I'm getting my blog back together, and will not be doing interviews/giveaways/or tours. Maybe when I get my footing back together with BFaS.

Quotes:

I also run a blog at youngadultquotes. While reading, I'll post-it note some quotes that I think are memorable, or describe the book, and I'll post them there.
